Owner of All States 1031 Selected to Chair Influential New 1031 Committee

All States 1031 Exchange Facilitator, LLC ("All States 1031"), a national company that assists both individuals and businesses in deferring capital gains tax on commercial and investment transactions, is pleased to announce that one of its owners, F. Moore McLaughlin, IV, Esq., CPA has been appointed by the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (the "FEA") to chair its national Small Business Resource Committee.

The purpose of the Small Business Resource Committee is to provide a forum for the discussion of issues unique to independent exchange accommodators, focused primarily on the needs of their owners and managers, and to provide resources to aid the owners and managers in addressing these issues.

The FEA is the only national trade association organized to represent professionals who conduct like-kind exchanges under Internal Revenue Code §1031. Members include Qualified Intermediaries, such as All States 1031, their primary tax and legal counsel, and affiliated industries (TIC sponsors, banks, real estate brokers, title companies, settlement/escrow agents, etc.). The FEA promotes the highest ethical standards and provides input on pending State and Federal legislation, IRS and Treasury rulings and regulations, and court decisions.

All States 1031, located in Boston and Providence, is a leading provider of Internal Revenue Code Section 1031 exchange consulting and Qualified Intermediary services. Its stated mission is to provide timely, accurate, and personal exchange services to their clients and their professionals in order to assist them through the 1031 exchange process in a manner that develops mutual trust based upon All State's experience and by maintaining the highest levels of security for the exchange funds.

All States 1031's extensive tax-saving programs for real estate and personal property include forward 1031 exchanges, safe harbor reverse exchanges under Revenue Procedure 2000-37, non-safe harbor reverse exchanges and construction exchanges. The clients of All States 1031 range from individual owners of multifamily housing to public and private companies owning large commercial properties. All States has closed billions of dollars in tax-deferred transactions on a nationwide basis.
